Summer seems to simply exhale into Autumn, and I know we were all busy this summer bringing our own harvests into fruition. Still we found time to ritual and to laugh in each other's company. The retreat this year was held in a new location, very close to Bragg Creek. I think we all enjoyed working on new masks for the grove and laughing like crazy. Between the archery, the river walks the ritual and the craftiness, we were kept busy. I think it was restful and well needed for all of us.
September started beautifully with a herb walk organized by Heather. Already a plan is in motion to make some chokecherry cough syrup and the an afternoon spent in the glorious sun learning about plants was enjoyable for both new comers and dear friends.
We opened up Grove of Mysteries to select guest on both Lammas and the Summer Solstice. Both times, we felt enriched by the presence of new energy and look forward to doing more of those in the coming months.
