Wushu Magic
Wushu Magic
To Know the Origins Of Wushu Magic, it is good to Know where it came from, and What Wushu is. And Also How Wushu Magic got its Name. Its an Ancient Tradition, only 6 months old.
The Story of Wushu actually begins with the Shaolin Monks about 1500 years ago. (500ce) Parents would Initiate their Children into the Shaolin Temples a Very Young Age (As Young as 4 years) the Children would Live, Learn and Train at the Temples 24/7.
At a Certain age, they would go through a Right of Passage, and be given 2 choices, one to continue at the Temple, furthering their Studies to become Monks, or to simply leave the Temple all together.
If the Initiates were to choose to stay at the Temple, they had to pass a Test, If the test was Failed, they had to leave the Temple.
When a Student of Shaolin left the Temple either on their Own Accord or if they failed the test, they were sent out into the World with one Order, under fear of retribution (some say death) they Could Not under any circumstances reveal or Practice Shaolin Kung Fu.
Shaolin Kung Fu is a Martial Art which imitates Nature and Animals in the Wild. It is believed that, to Obtain the Power of a Creature, one must Act like the Creature. Thus if fighting in Tiger Style, the Monk would Act like a Tiger, the Same goes for Snake, Mantis, Crane, Eagle, Monkey, Hawk and all other Animals in there arsenal of Styles (Note: there is in fact, no such Style as Panda Style to date)
Eventually in these Hard times, there was no other Choice to Use their Kung Fu Knowledge in order to Protect themselves. When Asked if they were Monks the answer was No, when Asked where they Learned their Shaolin Style of Fighting, they (Playing around the Rules) stated that this was not Shaolin Style, it was a Personal Style called Wushu.
The Wushu style of Martial Arts was Modified from its Original Shaolin Style in order to Teach to People who were not from the Shaolin Temples.
Over Time, Villages and Families, had their own Style of Wushu and would compete against other Villages and Families to see which style was superior.
In the Late 1800’s early 1900’s when The British Colonized China, the art of Wushu was quickly Outlawed, but still survived secretly in the Chinese writing and fiction called Wuxia (Which Means “Hero’s Journey”)
In these Stories, the Heroes of the Tales are Honorable (Or find Honor) and are very Connected to the Energies of the World. The Heroes also display great powers such as Speed, being able to climb trees with a Single Leap, or even have a semblance of Flight.
These Stories became very Popular in Chinese Culture with the Advent of Cinema, with films like, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Hero, House of Flying Daggers (to name but a Few) But these were not the Only People to Wield Magic in the Chinese World.
Daoist Priests (Known as Taoist in the English speaking World) also have Powers of a Spiritual Nature. Daoism is a Mixture of Buddhism and old God & Goddess Religion (Chinese Paganism) There are few Daoist “Spells” know to the Western World due to their Secrecy. Much like the Native American Tribes, It is Believed that the Only way to know the Daoist Secrets, is to Become a Daoist Priest. One Method of Magic they Use
stems from Written Words.
A Daois Priest, Using Specially Blessed Ink, will simply write out their request to the Gods or Spirits on a Parchment. One example of this is, should a Person Die while away from Home, a Daoist Priest, Writes an Order on his Parchment, then Takes the Parchment and Places it on the Head of the Dead Person. The Request is Simple; It is an order to the Ghost, to return Home to be Buried.
About 2 ½ years ago, I became very interested in Kung Fu Movies, I had no reasons to be, Kung Fu films had been around me my whole life, but something compelled me to Watch and Understand these films. Isea, came to know these movies as Wushu Movies.
It took a while and Much of the traditions displayed on the Screen, did not make sense to me, Until I started Working with a Chinese girl called Yue (Pronounce Yu-Eh!) I asked Many Questions about her culture and Traditions and She in turn answered.
I assimilated everything she Told me and Eventually I came up with a Spell. (Written Below)
When I was done with the Spell, I said, “You did Wushu Magic on me” Hence how the Name Wushu Magic, came to be.
I am in no way Stating I created this Form of Magic, it is my Understanding, of traditions that are ages old. Where I could not discover the Actual facts about what is Done or Said, I was inspired to fill in the blanks with my own knowledge in Magic and in Spira.
The Following are 3 spells I have practiced with success. Try them out, if you have success, Fantastic, Tell Me about it as I am curious. Also, You may be inspired to add on to these Spells, Please be my Guest. This “New” form of Magic is completely wasted in no one practices it, adds on to it, or simply lets it die Off.
Wushu Magic
The Written Word
Items Needed:
Ink or Paint
Brush
Paper
First Bless the Ink or Paint, this Blessing can be of God/Goddess form (I call to Athena to Bless this Ink/Pain with the Power of Wisdom) or with Intent (I Bring to this ink/Paint, the Powers of (Insert Power here))
The Brush Used should not be used for any Mundane Even like regular Painting, this Brush should Always only be used for Magic Purposes. Reason Being that in Painting much energy goes into the Brush, although Painting is Inspirational in its purest form, at times anger can go into the Painting, as is often depicted in the art, this Energy can stay stuck in the Brush
Touch the Paper, and make your request, Intent of what it is you Wish to accomplish. Dip your Brush into the ink/Paint and write out your wish. This can be in the Form of Words (Writing exactly what you want) or in the Form of Symbols.
Take your Brush, dipping it into the Ink/Paint and Write your Request. When writing your request, chant, either out loud or in your head something that is associated to your Wish, the More Specific the Better.
Ex: With this Symbol I do Call the Powers of the Wisdom to Come to Me
Note: I find that symbols work best due to the Fact that they must be researched and more energy goes into this than simply writing the Request Down.
Once done, Take this Paper, Roll it up as if it were a Scroll, store it in a Safe Place, such as your altar. Then Wait. Once your request has come to fruition (when your wish came True) take the Paper out, do not Unroll it. What needs to be done next, is it needs to be burnt, returned to the Gods with Thanks for their Help.
The Written Word, part 2
Items Needed:
Ink / Paint
Brush
Person
This Next Part of the Written Word in Relation to Wushu Magic, IS Very Much the Same as its first form. But in this Case, we are replacing the Paper with a Person.
First off, before beginning, The Person who is performing the Magic, must be grounded and focused on the Intent(s) of what the Magic is to fulfill. The Person who is having the Magic Performed upon, needs to be relaxed.
Note: this Next Part can be very intimate, thus, should not be practiced with just anyone, be sure you are comfortable with the Person and they You.
The Practitioner, to ensure the person is Relaxed, will massage any and All Parts of the Body that May be affected by the Magic, (For good Measure, Massage the Whole Body) All the While, Staying Focused on the Intent and Task at hand.
Next, stating at the Feet, simply lay your hands on the Person, visualize the Power of the Intent pouring into them. Slowly and Surely, rise to the Knees, Hips, etc,,, until you get to their Head.
Next, take your Blessed Ink/Paint, Holding it, visualize the Intent going into it.
The Brush Used should not be used for any Mundane Even like regular Painting, this Brush should Always only be used for Magic Purposes. (See previous Form for the explanation)
Take your Brush, dipping it into the Ink/Paint and Write your Request. When writing your request, chant, either out loud or in your head something that is associated to your Wish, the More Specific the Better.
Ex: With this Symbol, may you have Health
The Person who is Having the Symbols written on them should Not wash it off. Let the Ink/Paint Dry. Once dried, they may Shower/Bath as they normally would. When the Images have disappeared, the Spell is Done.
Note: If you have the Patience and attentions to detail, this can also be done with nail Polish. Instead of a Brush, Use a Needle.
Physical Magic
Items needed:
Yourself
Physical Magic, in regards to Wushu, goes with the Philosophy of “To invoke the Power Of, you must act As”
What this Means is, if you would want to invoke the Powers of a Tiger, you must act like a Tiger. This type of Magic is good in invoking the elements within Ritual.
In calling the elements for ritual, imagine yourself as what ever element you are calling. For example, if you are calling Air, your movements need to be very Airy. These movements may look very much like a Dance or Tai Chi. Your focus should be to Simply think, and Feel the Element around you. You may also have a Verbal call when doing this.
As you are moving, visualize the Element gathering at your Center (in the area of the Stomach) as a ball of energy. With every Movement, Visualize yourself Pulling the element within yourself. When you Feel that your Call is Complete, raise one hand up to the Sky, and lower the Other, then Bring both Hands to your Center, hands pointing in opposite directions. (This Position in Tai Chi is called Cradling the Moon)
When you are “Cradling” the energy, hold it for a moment, then thrust both arms outwards. Visualize the energy Spinning and moving forward into its Position.
Note: I did this in calling Air in Ritual, and it took 5 matches to light the Candle as there was a Cool Breeze that kept blowing out the Match.
To Close the Ritual and call the Element Back, do the Same in Reverse. See the element rise from where it is, Spinning towards you, when you cradle it, stop its spinning then your flowing airy movements should be returning the element to where you took them
Other Applications of Physical Magic
It is Possible to use the Physical Wushu Magic to gather the Strength for any Purpose. You Simply need the Imagination to do so.
