Welcome to the Samhain Edition of SpiralBound.  The leaves have turned and the ground is cold.  It is a time to look inward.  Keeping this in mind, the theme for this SpiralBound is those deities that have inspired and spoken to many of the members of Spira.  Each beautiful picture was created by a talented woman named Thalia Took.  The cards are available through her website.  Check out the store article in the Articles section for more information or click on the little Thalia picture below (with the mask).  Hopefully you can find the deity whose face is most familiar to you here.  Unfortunately, although Ms. Took has many many goddesses represented on her site, there are a few deity patrons of grove members that she has not drawn and as such they will not be found within these pages.  Never the less, represented here are all the deities called within Grove of Mysteries and the Starlit Grove.  Their faces should be familiar, their energy strong within your heart.  As you browse through, see their faces, perhaps as you envisioned or perhaps not.  Hear their messages and find the deep call of the divine within.  It is that time again, to honor the path we are on, to look backwards, honoring the many paths that have brought each of us to where we are now.  It is a time to look backwards in reverance and to turn forward drawing on the wisdom and lessons learned.   It is Samhain, when magic seems more keenly felt and chill air seems to carry within the voices of our ancestors, our younger selves and the divine.
