Oona is the Fir Tree Root of the Starlit Grove in Ontario as well as the Fir Tree Root of Canada. Although quiet, she has a presence that is undeniable, filled with tenacity, courage and conviction. A calming and quieting energy, she helps to bring everyone down to earth. Oona's spirit is one of gentle strength, which is of great use in her role of yoga instructor. RavenDreamer is the Elder Cedar Root of Spira as well as the President of the Alberta Community Church of Spira. He was raised in a small rural town in the mountains, and there learned to love and appreciate all of nature. RavenDreamer currently lives with his wife and children in Calgary. He is an initiated Shaman of Apollo and completed his visionquest in August of 2002. He is an extremely honorable person and fulfills his duties as a Shaman with natural talent and a true love for his path. As well as being an active and positive contribution to the Pagan community, he is a "mad scientist" and enjoys building and inventing - constantly testing the limits of his own imagination and talent. Willow Root: Starlit Grove

Sagesse Abiona is a happily married mother of two young beautiful children.
She grew up with two spiritual parents who encouraged her to explore and learn about herself. She attended women's spiritual gatherings as a teenager with her mother and often discussed First Nations spirituality among other spiritual paths.
Her gay father also further opened her eyes and mind into the diversity of people and the paths that they may follow when he came out of the closet when she was 17 years old.
Sagesse also has always had a passion for the environment and its protection. She tries to incorporate as many environmental practices into her life as she can and is always looking for the next small step to take towards making the world a better place for her loved ones.
In 2001 (or 2002????) she met Ravendreamer online while he was chatting with some others about his spiritual path and she knew that she had found a direction she wanted to follow. She quickly became a Seedling and devoured all her assignments. The following year she began her Liana learning and a friend started her seedling year and so the Ontario Grove began.
In 2003 (or 2004?) she became an Emergent and welcomed some new members into the grove. As the Grove grew so did Sagesses' love of this path. Soon she became the Willow Root of the Ontario Grove and then of North America. www.sacredtransitions.ca

Sora Nalani is the Elder Birch Root of Spira as well as the Treasurer of the Alberta Community Church of Spira. She was born in Calgary, Alberta surrounded by the love and protection of her family. Sora currently lives with her husband, their four children and one cat. Sora is a singer/songwriter and examines her love of nature through the lyrics and notes that she writes. Sora feels a strong connection to inspiration goddesses such as Selene, Hera and Aphrodite.

Aurelia Dawn is the Fir Tree Root of the Grove of Mysteries in Calgary. With a strong sense of self and a tendency to speak her mind, Aurelia Dawn leaves no doubt as to her suitability for the independence root within Spira. Aurelia Dawn lives in calgary with her boyfriend and his son.
